The marvelous American tradition of quilting is having a revival.
It is
a relatively easy art that has beautiful welcome rewards.
You may be required to do some homework.

Beginner's
Open Quilting -
Wednesdays - 10 AM - 3 PM
(These are a few of your choices.)
Select from a variety of easy quilts and work at your own pace.
All aspects of construction and completing your quilt will be covered.
Stop in and select your quilt pattern and you will receive a
supply list when you register.
Choices include 9-patch, Log Cabin, Hour Glass, Rail Fence,
Scrappy, Redwork Embroidery,
Machine Applique, and Paper Piecing, to name a few.

Quilt Class*
This is an easy quilt to make. You will learn an easy method of strip piecing.

House Quilt*
This is a great quilt to use those fat quarters we all collect.
The appliqué is done in the
embroidery hoop, if you don't have an embroidery machine you
can use
ours. There are 2 all day sessions for this
quilt. We will break for lunch.

Paper Pieced Quilt*
This is an easy paper pieced quilt.
There are 2 all day sessions for this
quilt. We will break for lunch.

Paper piecing workshops *
We will go through the
technique of paper piecing the easy basket block and then progress
to blocks with more than one unit like the House or Airplane.
There will be an assortment
of patterns available to practice on.

Mother Daughter Rag Quilt *
This class is a great bond
builder for mother and child. The finished project will be
a lap size quilt .
This quilt
can be made with either cotton fabric or flannels.
There are three sessions for this class.
Ages 7 to adult

BUGGY machine applique' Quilt*
Both adults and children tend to go a little BUGGY when they
see this whimsical quilt
.
The lap size quilt is wonderful
for those chilly evenings on the sofa watching your favorite movie
or when sitting by the camp fire.
